My poor boy is still itching this morning. Things seemed to be quite a bit better after we saw the doctor yesterday. He gave us some Allegra to combat the itching and Prednisone to clear up the reaction. After those two meds, I only had to give Lane one dose of Benadryl. This morning, he's had both meds and is again broken out in huge whelps (which itch, of course). A cool shower seems to help, so he's showering now to get some relief. I'm afraid he may have to have another dose of Benadryl ... and more bothered that the whole thing isn't resolving like I'd hoped.
